I'M Jaime R. Tosch
Welcome to my website here and I look forward in answering your questions on how I do my art work, what motivates me to paint a subject. As you may notice my favorite subject is the human figure render in pencil, charcoal, pastels, ink, watercolor, acrylic and some oil paintings.
What you see here is mostly some past drawings and paintings done from life mostly. Today I am painting large canvas of celebrities and cityscapes or major buildings. The photo of me is from a video that I did presenting a watercolor painting to a business friend near the capitol building of California in Sacramento.
My Latino heritage comes from Colon, Panama. Flew here when I was 10.5 years old and live in Florida, R.I., Texas and California. Therefore, my art culture is very American in fashion, pop and trends that are happening now. Like to show vivid colors in my recent paintings.

Inspiration
Today, I get inspire to paint a subject by the fact who the celebrity is or was or the possibilities to show the different shapes of curves of a woman, a beautiful fashionable lady that possess class. Other interesting subjects are a palm tree or city building being lit by the California orange sunlight.
Techniques
Currently I am working stilled in watercolor on paper and board, but mostly my technique is acrylic on canvas with a watercolor style, not trying to copy a realism. I stilled sketch from life model whenever possible using pencil or charcoal.
career highlights
My past experience in the art market has been in the illustration and graphic design. I have a large number of paintings to exhibit. Looking forward to show my work with ASF.
